10 Unexpected Item Upgrade Tips

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available. For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or rings. The item is swapped for a different one similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded. The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat. Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health. Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This helps you save upgrades. Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money. During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and those that are in the non-droppable Pool. Growthstones In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones are also available to players who sign daily contracts. To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the “level up button”. This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone. After choosing the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes. The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the “transfer” tab. For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to get these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones. Leveling Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive a higher level. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level. Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be added and a minimum amount for the equipment. The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process. A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19. Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available to it. Likewise, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted. Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will. Requirements Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as an amount of Upgrade Tokens. The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide more effects or an improved item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely. Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats. The upgrade to the helm “Foundation of the Sun” for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement “Wildfire” increases weapon damage. Some items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version. The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of the item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade. The game will put an item in your inventory when you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
